Lust
lust is not lost to the rising sun
hope is not lost when all is lost,
except maybe when you’re having fun
lust is a must and it is there,
so you start to run
but you know excitement is scared
and the doors of the ship are in motion
as the seagulls begin to dip
and as the moon sits between the stars,
like a crust
lust is not lost to the texture of rust
childhood is not lost to hopeful eternity
lust is not lost, in fact it is easily found
but those deeper, more meaningful feelings
are an all together different sound
