Getting Close
we get close,
when we are around each other
then,
in a twist of fate,
it all comes crashing down
for us,
disaster is never late
we watch the oven,
but our cakes will never bake
we get close,
and there is light
then,
in a twist of fate
it is always someone else’s flight
