I Just Love You

i just love you
you ask me to explain
i just cannot
i just love you
and i get tired –
of people in relationships –
telling me how bad it is
i am sure they care
this feeling however does not shift
and, people say to me
it is up to you
how you live your life
it is funny though –
how that phrase is followed by –
an opinion
on what i should be doing
and how i should be feeling
i just love you
and as slim as the chance is
how can i walk away
letting go of you
would tear me apart
i know one day it will happen
and then, the pain will really start
i just love you
it is everything i am
