Make My Own Potions
societies norms –
are often defined –
by the least, ‘normal’
those without gusto
and hearts so formal
are we meant,
to live by them
to trudge alone their path
hold me close,
we are starting to craft
societies norms –
like a uniform –
we are asked to wear
if you confirm –
then people will be there
and they will accept you
forget being an individual
well… i move away
from that crazed notion
i would rather –
make my very own potions
