Stand and Shiver – Written Wednesday 18th October 2006 (Aged 31)

Stand and Shiver

when asked to deliver
you stood there,
and all you could do was shiver
despite the extensive campaign
when it comes to it,
the actual moment of giving
you can never deal with pain
and when asked to deliver
you stood there,
with your personal rain falling down
clutching a lifeboat,
whilst others just drowned
despite the bold and mighty claims
despite the legal eagle words
in the end,
they are just lonely type fonts
ones with no depth or character
when asked to deliver.
you stood there and started to shiver
