Listened To Some People Today
listened to some people today
they were deconstructing society
and they had much to say
they talked of, ‘the good old days’
they said,
that those days had gone away
but i wonder if they ever existed
every generation mourns the one that follows
and i think memories are tight fisted
because the ring of truth is very hollow
