Just As It Seems – Written September 1997 (Aged 22)

Just As It Seems

it’s all just as it seems
all my precious thoughts
they do not steal my scenes
in fact,
those scenes,
i drew them all for you
i mapped out –
my unchartered feelings
just so i could –
change my monostatic view
and i sought a world –
even though i never had clue
still so many feelings to find
if only my hands and legs
were things i could unbind
but they are caught –
in tight invisible cords
but like an ice tipped spear
reality disturbs my thoughts
and sanity tries to entertain
in fact,
it’s just as it seems
