A Curious Type Of Rain
memory lane
it has a curious type of rain
what is that,
that happens to us now
something is on show
and the questions is,
should we go?
balloons,
they are popping in the sky
those that benefit the most
just ask us why
shapes,
they fall from my brain
and tears fill up my coffee cups
when i amble down memory lane
and i am reminded –
it has a curious type of pain
weather comes and goes
leaving a particular kind of stain
childhood,
leans too much into blame
what happens to us now
when we get lost down memory lane
would you know?
