Judge
i know that we are always judged
not on the path,
on which we have heartily trudged
or when we had to fight so alone
but on the worthless things we are
and as we look at what each of us has
do we ever wonder about the things we amass
no one ever really really knows you
yet, they assume they can tell you what to do
and yet,
they do not understand your path
but so often they claim to know your craft
i know that we are judged
not on the path,
on which we have heartily trudged
or the pain we have felt
or the shiver that comes from snow that never melts
but on the worthless things we own
not on the journeys in which we have roamed
