Chairman of the Board

everyone argues
and its always about culture wars
and something about loss
but it is never about the CEO
or even the boss
who has the money
who has the hoard
it’s not minority groups fighting for a voice
it’s the chairman of the board
it’s media barons and their puppets
they do the bidding
but it is the rest of us,
struggling against the cost of living
yet still,
they wheel out these commentators
like they have an expertise
one on which we can bank
but they represent more dangerous ideology
and another murky think tank
so when bills come in –
and food is at such a cost
why is the we attack the powerless
and never the boss
how much stupid thinking should we take
when there are so many commentators
simply on the make
it’s never a challenge to the powerful
never about the wealthy and the rich
we need to to target these others
if we ever hope to find a suitable fix
