Coastal Erosion
coastal erosion –
leaves you as an island
what a thing to be,
staring out,
to sea
coastal erosion
reduces your coastline
your sight line
your mind
has coastal erosion –
affected me?
i am a person of many flaws
so maybe
maybe it is me
left in this remote cottages
that chugs out smoke
as my connections escape or elope
coastal erosion
leaves you as an island
and that is what i have become
have found a home
but it is a fort
have i just built a castle
or am i alone with my thoughts
