I’m Married to Dreams

i’m married to dreams
but trust me i do not have syndrome…
and i am okay on own
if the majority is seen as, ‘normal’
then i am absolutely, ‘normal’, on my own
i’m married to dreams
and i also fly through the night
if only to find painted ceilings
but trust me i don’t have a disorder
and if i did it would not excuse my failings
if i choose to waste away
it’s only me on those railings
i am just the average odd human being
coupled to failings
i’m married to dreams
