The Now
it’s our time again
bedtime and night time
humble words from a strange mind
prophets born from wisdom
carved from belief
it’s a one to one conversation
where words are precious
it’s like verbal conversation
but jewellery and jade stone
adorn no ones throne
only hallow halls and glitterballs
which run from old time ballrooms
where dancers have fell
into floorless tombs
it’s our time again
let’s take it before it goes
who knows we may just make it
i know we certainly won’t fake it
people from the frost seem lost
and in society, they struggle to fit
but it’s my host who i miss the most
i wish i had them by my side
it’s our time again
a generation of investigating
introspection and retro style

Thank you 🙂 This is the urgency and the immediacy of youth and feeling that you are the moment and your generation is relevant.
