Pull Me Into Shadows and Show Me Light

i do not need the excuses
just do it for me today
show me the side on which you stand
your sweet lipped talking
has fallen through my hands
i do not need reasons for the why not
just tell me today
as to why my respect was so easily forgot
i do not want letters
i do not want ill thought out responses
i do not want the excuses
because i did not excuse you
i would just like to know the truth
because the office is your church
and the company your holy roof
show me that you know me
pull me into shadows and show me light
