Liminal Spaces – Written June 2023 (Aged 48)

Liminal Spaces

i am in a liminal space
familiar voids,
but something about the taste
this period of transition
but then my writing,
my poetry,
my depiction and description
are liminal spaces
and now in bright yellow
i fully understand
there are no backrooms
just these long ago words
i am in a liminal phase
with points and faces
with hand luggage and solid cases
look at me,
i am wired with ideas
that can conceal
my buzzword is nostalgic appeal
there is unease in what i read
and something about its nature
liminal images tossed out by words
i am sitting here,
i am in a liminal place
that is my current position
as i dovetail another transition
