Velcro Labels
society can give you velcro labels to wear
it can try to guess my religion
and the type of hope that i wear
i could become suburban,
with a car or two parked on the drive
society can construct a set of worried towers
but i know i am alive,
you can give me all your ignorance
and if you want, a badge for me to wear
you can dance in a virtual harvest
and claim that i do not care
but i know that those who love me are near
and i know that you, you are way over there
