Dirty Chalk
the evasive action
the tepid distraction
the rusty attraction
the sound of rusty wheels
on redundant track
the lies,
the family ties
the wherefores before the why
the gut reaction inside
the sound of dirty chalk
on school blackboard
the dishonesty,
the lack of sympathy
the slide to insanity
