Gold Or Copper
sometimes i just do not know where i am
i count up my dreams
i take them out of the box
and i check all of their seams
sometimes i am lost at sea
i am there sending out mayday calls
just so that somebody can save me
and if you had the special lights,
would you be able to set yourself free?
sometimes i just become too much
and what appears to be gold
is only copper when you actually touch
and then, then i turn myself around
to find that life itself can feel like too much
