Wonder
is it any wonder
that your being people plunder
when you remain so cold
when you start to get old
is it any wonder
that you feel the cold
friends and family stand aside
rationality starts to hide
is it any wonder
that it’s become too easy to cry
why do you exaggerate and lie
is it a failing inside
had insecurity devoured
all that should have flowered
has your drive gone into reverse
felled not by power but by hurt
is it any wonder
that your tune is played out by thunder
that somehow you remain lost
and overs happily pass on the cost
