I Have Used Up My Sundial

i tried conventional
but in the end,
unconventional and insanity
welcomed me with open arms
so in the end,
we will retreat
struggle to be friends
and i will dream about you in my sleep
you the destination
that once felt complete
i tried routine,
it filled my rooms
it sullied every single dream
a spectre that looms
and suffocates my being
so in the end,
here we are once again
love for you burns bright
but i have used up my sundial
and now it must be good night
