we have talked about this
and talked it to death
executed it one million times
and took away its breath
indecision greets you,
and i never leaves you
i am tired, i love you
of that i have no doubt
but the joy and celebration
is it still about?
the rules of initial happiness
we seemed to tout
but ultimately they’re rules we flout
