Ruffle Your Bedding

i can be good
you know i can
someone said –
i should stop getting –
into trouble
they need to look –
closer to home
because i have trod –
the path –
they are treading
and i know she will do –
more than ruffle your bedding
i know her kisses
are just a moment in time
that gets left behind
with the hastily drunk wine
and you get replaced
as quick as they can
i can be good
you know i can
there is a vital difference
i will eventually understand
