She Is a Smile
she is a smile
one that i never quite caught
a long day away –
one that i never quite sort
i try too hard
i get left behind
and then i cannot start
everyone tries to hold me
but i do not know my part
and she said something –
and i longed for it to be true
she is something –
that will never quite be
but somehow,
her smile sets me free
