Dismantle My Wall – Written Thursday 18th November 2010 (Aged 35)

Dismantle My Wall

when you said to me,
that you would not run away
i started to dismantle my wall
i started to open the door
and then i started to fall,
fall for you
and now i let you through
i become insecure
and i am scared of losing you
when you said to me,
that you liked my name for you
i started to believe
and i gave up on just making do
when you said to me,
that i made you smile
i realised that my prison bars
suddenly had the appropriate file
