Emotional Heights

i woke up
you had spent a night
swimming across my mind
and now,
now it was daytime
and you were coming up for air
how i think of you
and how you,
you are always there
i spend the day –
moving from thought to thought
that all contain you
you walk across my imagination
you scale emotional heights
i try to stop feeling for you
but i never put up much of a fight
i wake up,
and things feel on the better side of right
