Looking Into Her Storybook
she held my hand
and her eyes came alive
and i knew,
that she had been hurt
i saw it in her eyes
and i knew,
she had a history
the type,
written in many personal books
and i knew,
she’d always wanted to be free
you could see it in her looks
and i knew,
she wanted to protect me
but no one was protecting her
and as i looked into her storybook
i realise she wanted to share
so she held my hand,
and her eyes came alive
