Wild
i was always honest with her
i always told it –
how i felt it
and how things felt
but it was her,
something so hard to melt
and she did not want honesty
or any form of reality
i presume –
the abuse experienced as a child
had set her sanity loose
and then it had become wild
i presume –
those experiences were not mild
because it had left her self esteem
and her manners –
untamed and also completely wild
there she is now
writing poetry to appeal to people
it’s far too easy
and it tells very little about us
in fact it is barely half the story
but i was always honest with her
she just did not want honesty
