I Peeped Through The Windows – Written Monday 9th October 2006 (Aged 31)

I Peeped Through The Windows

i peeped through the windows
as guilt shone down to me
it is the children,
and that interruption to their reality
i peeped through the window
and i saw a star spangled past
i watched them drag it kicking and screaming
then bury it in a lead lined cask
i peeped through the windows
where dust lay upon a table
someone cheered as they leered
and told of a real time sepia fable
i peeped through the windows
and i knew what was coming
i could see the fayre,
and insanity was already running
i peeped through the windows
