Bored
come on and on
and then, be gone
shocked,
standing by a wall
take a drag back
and curse the fool
sit down in a bar
on a stool,
cannot get up,
cannot stand up
and it goes on –
in the morning
turning on the radio
to the same old song
open up the tin, roll up
and you are gone
but never too far
like in your birth
you came back to earth
and you go out,
round to a friends
and she is still not back
so you try to make amends
yet, things seem to –
take on a similar position
you are just as bored –
as everybody else
and do you know
and do you think of –
anyone but yourself
so you go home
ring up on a telephone
sister is out,
in the morning she will come home
and tell you what it is all about
