Lucky Luke – Most Likely Written Sometime Between September and November 1994 (Aged 19)

Lucky Luke

lucky breaks
no way out
give us a chance
we yearn,
to know what it is about
lucky luke –
has made the grade
he has served his time
his dues are paid
and she,
she plays in band
it is something –
that neither of them understand
holding each tight
in the middle of the night
holding hands,
life looks grand
finally, he can have what he likes
if only they could see him now
all those people
who put him down
and ate away –
at his self confidence
now they would be shocked
standing in silence
give us the lucky breaks
because it is always a –
dare devil that takes
it can be no lucky fluke
lucky luke
