Wool – Written Wednesday 13th December 2000 (Aged 25)

Wool

well you get pushed
well you get pulled
and sometimes over my eyes
there is wool
why did i let you make a fool of me
why i not use my mind
thinking of you –
is the ultimate waste of time
take me back to the early days
when everything was fine
well we make mistakes
the knot of intelligence is undone
well again, i have still got anger
then, i am only young
i have a lot to learn
well somebody got burnt
but if you put your fingers in the fire
you are only adding fuel
the flares are bound to get higher
well i am still here
i did not leave
as stupid as i may have been
i still believe
