Always Here
always here
did you you know that i was scared
i ran out into the garden
just to show how much i cared
always here
tongue tied and apple eyed
relaxing on the lawn
i don’t remember the cottage
although i was only a new born
always here
i am so tired that i need to be rewired
my brain like aspirin
put it in a glass and watch it fizz
find me a packhorse
and give me a lift
always here
but what you see may be something else
some days are colourful
and some,
some i just don’t like being myself
