A Little More Self Belief

i can see how much you love him
just how much you care
but i also feel that space
that place, that seems almost spare
i can see how much you love him
and how you have put him first
but i can feel your lack of confidence
of self belief and inner hurt
something has happened
and we are forever changed
you know and i know –
that pain leaves a terrible stain
i can see how much you love him
but love for you has never been easy
a long road to take
and though you are hopelessly devoted
nothing fixes that long ago heartache
i can see how much you love him
and how much the family means to you
but you have to have more self belief
don’t ever believe that dreams cannot come true
