Scared – Written Sunday 12th February 2006 (Aged 30)

Scared

the damage done to our lives
it has left us scared
the madness inflicted upon us
it has left us scared
and we are not so sure anymore
kind of afraid –
to peek from behind the door
the damage it has done to my mind
has made me make a military retreat
but it is okay,
i have never lost my beat
the damage done to who we are
it has left us scared
the stupidity inflicted upon us
it has left us scared
