The Situation
any situation
that forces you to look at yourself
can be uncomfortable
because on inspection
as human beings,
it is clear that we are flawed
and away from anger and sheer emotion
it is rationality and hindsight
that can provide clarity and reason
i know my mistakes,
i just did not know then
and i foolishly believed –
that somehow they would be strong
that they would not be damaged
this naivety,
which borders on stupidity
it has cost me dear
any situation
that ends in disaster
of course it loses part of you
you face the sometimes unpleasant inside
you have to find a way to move on
because there is peace, a place to find
