Bang Of The Garden Gate

i will admit i have an issue
one that is weighing me down
it’s a constant headache
an unwelcome addition to my frown
a tiredness is in my eyes
it feels like a heavy night on the town
and i will admit that i have lost something
a piece of me,
has, somehow being changed
i have had my very being challenged
so i am grateful to even have my name
and i will admit that i do feel a weight
what i need is to see is fresh flowers
not the bang on the garden gate
