Amazed

i am amazed by myself
not because of some skill
of some talent…
but because,
despite the fact –
i am overworked, stressed –
poorly paid and badly made
i still manage to smile
and i am still in awe of you
how do you keep going
even when it falls through
us lucky people –
born where we are
