Happiness
happiness –
it wears a long coat
and it sits in the rear stool
laughing at the jugglers
and the comedians
this is my dedication to it
happiness –
it’s the temporary visitor
whose company you adore
but it’s one you can never quite keep
it’s the shape on the bed
the one that likes to drag you to sleep
happiness –
i am ecstatic when it arrives
joyful at its jokes
it makes me feel special inside
it’s a bus ride to paradise
a feeling at last
that will finally suffice
