I Do Not Think Much of Their Personality Disorder – Written Sunday 26th March 2006 (Aged 31)

I Do Not Think Much of Their Personality Disorder

i do not think much of their personality disorder
it lacked,
well, seaside appeal
it felt like it was the last of the ferris wheels
it came without a thrill
i did not think much of their middle england nature
it left me puzzled and sat upon the village green
with the kind of hope that could only wait
it lacked any school day charm
as i stood there, waiting to open the fete
i do not think much of their personality disorder
or the way the line of normality –
was somehow drawn around them
it lacked that steam train appeal
and it was the last of the lacklustre dreams
the type where not a thing appears to be real
i do not think much of their personality disorder
