Stem The Flow
i want someone here
someone,
to stem the flow
i want another version of me
not this one that i currently know
i want someone here
and another part of me,
an angry part of me
just wants to stamp out the pain
because i don’t want to feel like this
this unbearable strain
i want someone here
someone,
to stem the flow
someone to put their arms around me
and then,
to not let go
i want that person to take away
to take down the person
who is causing this much pain
i want to be right and to feel once again
i want someone here,
someone right now this thursday morning
i want my future now, instantly
or at least i just want to see it dawning
