5Hot Pursuit

it is always shame
when someone does not get to know you
because of something they believe
and,
without a doubt
that person loses out
in the end,
you can only do so much
sometimes it is the very person we are
that means any relationship formed
will never go very far
and, that is exactly how i feel about me
but i cannot atone for someone’s starvation
of affection and love
the demoralising of self confidence
and if,
as a human being you –
refuse to acknowledge those issues
then failure will always be in hot pursuit
it is always a shame
when someone does not get to know you
without a doubt,
you all lose out
