I Need You

i need you
but you do not need me
i need you
but you do not see
my affect upon you is low rent
i need you
but you remain indifferent
i think of you
so many times a day
just a silly crush i guess
but i know
it will not go away
i try my hardest
to contain how i feel
but i need you
because it seems so real
and the way that i feel
is the most real thing i know
i need hard evidence
if i am to grow
i need you
i wonder if you know
i need you
but i have never told you so
