Some People
some people –
always have to be better than others
every remark uttered from their gob
just tells you,
this person is a snob
clinging onto life’s ladder
with just a finger and a thumb
desperate to be better
when in reality, quite dumb
some people –
see others misfortune
as a chance to parade themselves
the truth is that those people
really just want to be somebody else
they remain riddled with insecurity
and they lack self belief
that is the reality
the truth is they’re absolute oxygen thieves
