Shipwreck
i said i would not let you go
not this time
i would still want you
no matter what you’re wearing
but i cannot hold on
when i am tearing myself open
when i am so tired
when i am so upset
i have to give myself some space
a little rest
i said i would not let you go
and i mean it
but i will be at a distance
i am feeling like a shipwreck
and that is no kind existence
