Moods and Swings – Written March 2016 (Aged 41)

Moods and Swings

i have been fortunate
and that is something i do not forget
i do not forget my troubles
i do not forgets my heartaches
or my moods, my swings
and all that it brings
now i can say that i have survived
from those days when i did not thrive
to the here and the now
and i am glad that i am still alive
i know,
i am concerning when it’s not learning
but this passion,
has always been burning
and only occasionally afflicted
