One Way Love
I felt little more than a fool—
so very cruel.
I lived
for our moments together,
foolishly believing
they would go on forever.
I believed in what we had.
I believed—
yes, I did.
But I was
young,
naive.
It became so clear—
too soon,
you never believed
in what we had.
