Sunshine Bathed Me Today – Written September 2023 (Aged 48)

Sunshine Bathed Me Today

sunshine bathed me today
and for once,
in the blink of an eye
i saw moons in the sky
maybe,
i am a brittle bone collector
one,
who comes in different grades
and one,
who sculpted a memorable maze
but, today,
sunshine bathed me
as i watched lemons on the turn
and the days of lost memory
caused my satellites to burn –
and fall from my crazy sky
but, don’t mind me,
because i am fine,
sunshine bathed me today
and it let the confetti flow –
inside my mind
and i wallowed in my success
fuelled by luck and ego
do not go,
because sunshine bathed me today
