First Undressed
when the notion of being young –
first undressed
and it’s passion was bare
did you hold it tight –
and run your hands through its messy hair
did you show it all the sites
did you take it everywhere
as it sat there,
wide eyed and bare
hungry for the world
and hungry with it’s stare
did you roll around upon your bed
did the notion of being young
mess around with your head
did it?
did the notion of being young
find you,
as it started to undress
did it scrunch up your childhood
as your insecurities begged to confess
and did it run it’s hands –
over your deeply personal treasure chest
was passion wild and brave
when the notion of being young
crept out of it’s dark cave
did you chase it, grab it
and did it make you, shake you
did it awaken you with such passion
did it leave you a wonderful emotional mess
when the notion of being young,
first found you and undressed
