Hits

the response, well that is always optional
after all, nuance is dead
debate no longer exists
ad bias is over fed
every statement,
dissected too much or just too far
accountability,
comes with an uncomfortable charge
and that is why,
every response becomes optional
no one wants to feel like they have to concede
not in a world,
that people try to paint in black in and white
there is no need….
nuance is, ‘out of its mind’,
and reasoned debate is stuck in a hole
but it cannot not find a suitable ladder to climb
so, here we are,
intelligence can only score own goals
bogus simplicity seems to be an outfit that just fits
and all these social media posts,
receive and ever increasing member of hits
