Big City – Written Wednesday 13th September 2023 (Aged 48)

Big City

naivety ran away –
and caught a train to a big city
it does not matter where,
it does not matter which one
only that you care,
and that i am not undone
naivety ran away –
it is the nature of youth
because being young,
well it’s just a noun –
that opened doors in your home town
and now naivety has run,
i am left with some kind of wisdom
and a feeling,
that i caught too much youthful sun
